Meek Mill - Lawyers Respond To Judge

Meek Mill Lawyers Move On Fighting For The Bail Out Of The Rapper Himself.

Philly-Meek Mill Lawyers Took on Friday send their latest appeal to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania asking that he be released on bail while he appeals the two- to four-year prison sentence for probation violations handed down last month by Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley.Meek lawyers Robert Williams disputed every reason Brinkley cited for sending him to prison.

Source also told Top that the rapper is not a flight risk given that he is a lifelong member of the Philadelphia community who is being supported by the likes of fellow rapper Jay-Z and Michael Rubin, co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, the lawyers wrote in their brief. They said Mill has no history of bail violations, or attempted escapes and he’s too famous to flee.

“Because of his celebrity, Mr. Williams is known on sight to hundreds of thousands if not millions of people. For all practical purposes, it would be impossible for him to flee or hide, even if he were inclined to do so,”
the lawyers wrote.
